ABOUT THE FRIENDLY CONNECTIONS TELEPHONE PROGRAM
NorCal’s Telephone Program helps seniors remain connected to their community while living independently in their own home. Trained, friendly and trustworthy volunteers will call your home and check in with you. They will ask how you are doing. The volunteers can provide referrals to services that you may need and inform you about upcoming local Deaf events.

HAVING CONNECTIONS CAN LEAD TO LONGEVITY
NorCal offers many services and programs. Under the Senior Choices Program the friendly Connections Telephone Program reaches out to Deaf seniors who are 50 and older and living alone. Monthly meetings provide Deaf seniors an opportunity to socialize and learn new information. The Driver Safety Program is a valuable resource that offers driving tips and can reduce the cost of your auto insurance.
