Before you enter our program, we will interview you to identify the following:

  • Your work history
  • Your job interests
  • Your challenges
  • Any support you need for employment

We have 1:1 and Group meetings that are offered in person at our office or on Zoom

  • Employment words that are used on applications and job descriptions
  • Email, text messaging, Video Relay Services, computer apps and internet
  • DMV Driver’s License test preparation
  • Social boundaries and differing perspective
  • Self Advocacy Skills

Our Employment Program helps with

  • Job application and interview practices
  • Job Search skills
  • Assistance with online applications and personality tests
  • Assistance learning public transportation for work

ASL Interpreting for job interviews and new hire orientation/training on the job

Job Coach

  • Support on the job when starting a new job
  • Help resolve any conflicts or issues that may interfere with your work
  • Learn how to use the bus to get to work

The BEST program is available at all NorCal offices.
